Republic of Ireland striker, David Connolly will be playing for AZ Alkmaar next season despite signing a contract with Wimbledon according to the Dutch club.

Officials for the club say that Connolly signed a three-year contract with the club after his contract with Feyenoord ran out over a week ago.
