Serie 'A': Buffon moves to Juve

Juventus have clinched the signing of Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon from Parma.

Buffon, 23, has joined the Bianconeri in a 105bn lira (stg£32.6m) deal, with Juve also sending 26-year-old midfielder Jonathan Bachini to Parma.

Bachini spent last season on loan at Brescia and scored two goals in 20 appearances.

The goalkeeper’s arrival all but guarantees the departure of Dutch international keeper Edwin van der Saar from the stadio Delle Alpi.
