Soccer: Cork City play Latvian team in Inter toto Cup
Cork City will play their first leg of their Inter toto Cup fixture against Liepajas Metalurgs of Latvia.
The match will kick-off at 6.30pm at Turners Cross as the Cork side go in search of securing a spot in the UEFA cup competition which could attract big name teams and large crowds to the Cork stadium.
Kelvin Flanagan is unavailable for the game and both Anthony Buckley and Alan Carey are carrying slight knocks into the game, which will be used as a barometer by national league teams to see how much Cork have progressed under coach Liam Murphy.
