Soccer: Irish fans to be allowed in Portuguese end at Lansdowne Road
The FAI and Gardai have drawn up a security plan to segregate Irish and Portuguese supporters at the North Terrace end of Lansdowne Road for Saturday's World Cup qualifier.
The operation is required after hundreds of tickets for the Portuguese end were handed by the Portuguese FA to a ticket agency in Britain.
Since then, hundreds of Irish fans have bought tickets at that end after seeing them advertised in the Irish press.
It has now been agreed to allow Irish fans into the North Terrace, but they will be kept apart from visiting supporters.
