Soccer: Caniggia is Ibrox-bound
Claudio Caniggia’s agent claims the Argentinian will be a Rangers player by midday on Monday.
Dundee manager Ivano Bonetti has already admitted they would be willing to let the former World Cup star leave Dens Park for the right price.
And agent Pablo Cosentino insists Caniggia will sign a two-year deal after talks with Rangers chairman David Murray on Friday.
‘‘We are all celebrating,’’ Cosentino said. ‘‘Claudio is a Rangers player. We have verbally agreed it.
‘‘If everything goes through in the way we expect he will be signing a two-year contract with Rangers.
‘‘We are all delighted and now the contract will be signed on Monday at midday.’’
