Keane 'may be fit' for Portugal clash - Leeds
Fears that Robbie Keane could be out of the game for up to a year have been eased by his club Leeds this afternoon.
The club dismissed the speculation this afternoon, insisting that while Keane has torn ankle ligaments, the problem is not that serious and there is a possibility that he will be fit for Ireland's June 2 clash with Portugal at Lansdowne Rd.
The 21-year-old suffered the injury in a heavy tackle by Arsenal's Tony Adams at Highbury last Saturday.
