Soccer: Chelsea not good enough, raps Zola
Chelsea star Gianfranco Zola admitted the Stamford Bridge fans deserved better than the side’s poor second half performance in the 2-1 win over Everton that was typical of the team’s inconsistent season.
Chelsea, having carelessly conceded a second minute goal to Everton’s Kevin Campbell, came back to dominate the next hour with some of their best football of the campaign which included two cracking goals in two minutes by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink just after the half-hour mark.
