Soccer: Buskers to sing at FA Cup and Champions League Finals

Two buskers will sing at the FA Cup and Champions League Finals after being discovered on a London street.

Rebecca Knight and Karen England, known as the Opera Babes, will both sing the National Anthem and Abide With Me on May 12 and solos in Milan on May 23.

They can usually be found singing along to tapes outside the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London.

Ms Knight, the daughter of opera singer Gillian Knight, said: "We love opera so much that we will sing it anywhere for anyone, but to be spotted like this and to be given such a wonderful opportunity is just incredible."

She added: "My mother is just about to do La Traviata at Covent Garden so she is rehearsing there while I'm performing in the street."
