Soccer: Henchoz hails Rovers’ return

Stephane Henchoz welcomed his old club Blackburn back to the Premiership and admitted that their relegation from the top flight was the most painful experience of his career.

The classy Swiss defender stands on the brink of a cup treble and Champions League qualification with the club he joined for £3.65m in the summer following Rovers’ relegation from the top flight at the end of the 1998-99 season.
