Soccer: Zola agrees new two-year deal

Gianfranco Zola today revealed that he has agreed a new two-year deal with Chelsea.

Zola, 34, has pledged the remainder of his career to the Blues, who have also given him the option of a further two years at Stamford Bridge in a coaching capacity when the new deal runs out.

Chelsea only persuaded Zola to stay last summer by promising him that he could move back to his native Italy for a nominal fee this summer if he still felt the same way.
