Cork kept on course for a European place with this comfortable win over Galway.

Defender Derek Coughlan headed them in front on 30 minuts from Ollie Cahill's corner.

Kelvin Flanagan added a second on 65 minutes when side-footing home after good work by Anthony Buckley.

Within a minute it was 3-0 when Cahill ran through the visitors' defence to score.

Bobby Ryan got Galway's consolation goal in the final minute.

Cork now need to beat title-chasing Shelbourne next week to stay in the hunt for Europe.
