Eircom League: UCD equalise in last minute

An injury time Eoin Bennis goal helped UCD climb out of the bottom two by the slenderest of margins.

College had the perfect start when Derek Swan slotted home a penalty after Derek Coughlan pulled down Bennis inside the area after just 15 minutes.

The lead lasted just a minute, though, as James Mullligan headed Cork level from a John Caulfield cross.

Substitute Pat Morley then thought he had won it for Euro-chasing City when putting them in front on 90 minutes.

But Bennis hit back to earn UCD a precious point and lift them above Finn Harps on goals scored.
