Soccer: Leboeuf returns to France for treatment

Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has insisted that the reason he returned to France is to get treatment for a groin injury - not to tie up a move to a club in his homeland.

Leboeuf has spent the last week in Lyon, where he bought an apartment last year.

However, the player said today that he would have to queue for treatment at Stamford Bridge so he decided to see one of the French national team's doctors and a leading osteopath instead.
