Leeds skipper Lucas Radebe has today been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

The news comes as a damaging blow to Leeds manager David O’Leary’s hopes of clinching third spot in the Premiership, and with it a place in next season’s Champions League.
