Soccer: No return for Leboeuf

Defender Frank Leboeuf is ruled out of Chelsea’s squad to face Derby at Pride Park tomorrow by the groin injury sustained on international duty a fortnight ago.

The Blues retain the 16-man squad involved in last weekend’s 2-1 win against Middlesbrough, with Albert Ferrer and Gus Poyet also included in the travelling party.

Defender Mario Melchiot, who returned to action against Boro after almost two months out with an ankle injury, sustained a knock during the game but is still hopeful of being fit to face Derby.
