Soccer: Saints turn to captain marvel

Captain Jason Dodd is expected to return to Southampton’s starting line up for their game at Leeds United tomorrow.

Dodd has not started a match since damaging his knee in Saints’ 2-0 win against Bradford on February 10, but is now fully fit and had a run-out for the reserves against Nottingham Forest in midweek.

Striker Kevin Davies is also in contention for a recall after recovering from a shoulder problem which kept him out of Monday’s home defeat to Ipswich, but Moroccan midfielder Hassan Kachloul (calf) is still a major doubt.
