Soccer: Alan Kelly moves to Stockport

Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Alan Kelly has signed for First Division outfit Stockport County until the end of the season.

He will make his debut for the club against Bolton Wanderers.

Kelly who was relegated to third choice at Blackburn has been given special permission to join Stockport as the transfer deadline has passed but the promotion chasing side are without any fit keepers and so Kelly is set to deputise for the next two matches at least.
