Glenn Hoddle was finally confirmed as Tottenham's new manager at a White Hart Lane press conference this evening.

The former England midfielder quit as Southampton boss on Wednesday, with Saints chairman Rupert Lowe demanding £800,000 compensation for the loss of Hoddle.
