Premiership: Karembeu keen on PSG move
Middlesbrough midfielder Christian Karembeu would be tempted to join Paris St Germain next season if he is given the opportunity.
"Next season at PSG It would be great and I know that (PSG coach) Luis Fernandez has been keen on recruiting me for a long time," the 30-year-old France international said.
"I would be tempted, even if I'm happy at Middlesbrough, I'll decide when it's time to."
The New Caledonia-born player won the Champions League during his three campaigns with Real Madrid before joining Boro last summer for £2.5m.
Seduced by the idea of moving back to France, the former Sampdoria midfielder does not appear afraid of joining a club which is experiencing one of their worst seasons.
Down in 12th place, PSG are now concentrating on survival in Le Championnat while their European ambitions have definitely faded away.
"Paris are in the process of creating a big club," Karembeu added.
"They should not be badly judged because they put money to compete with the biggest European clubs. Le Championnat needs them to offer big shows."
