Coventry manager Gordon Strachan has admitted that he faces an "uphill struggle" to keep his side in the Premier League. The Sky Blues have not won a league game since Boxing Day and are currently second from bottom of the table, seven points from safety.

Strachan has eight games left to guide Coventry to safety and is in no doubt what must be done if the midlanders are to extend their 34-year run in the top flight. "If people are resigned to relegation, that is their mentality," he said.
