Soccer: McCarthy announces squad

Mick McCarthy has announced his squad for Ireland's World Cup qualifying games against Cyprus and Andorra.

In the only change from the squad that was to meet Denmark, Gary Kelly replaces the injured Stephen Carr.

Niall Quinn has been named but may be forced to pull out later in the day when he visits a specialist for his back injury.

Six players have been included on a stand-by list: Keith O'Neill; Gareth Farrelly; Graham Kavanagh; Curtis Fleming; Alan Mahon and Nick Colgan.
