FA Cup: Allison pulls one back for Tranmere

Tranmere have pulled another goal back against Liverpool in their FA Cup quarter-final clash at Prenton Park.

Steve Yates scored for Tranmere at the opening of the second half to put the home side in with a chance of overcoming the deficit.

Stephen Gerrard then put Liverpool further ahead on 53 mins.

But Tranmere clawed their way back into this clash through Wayne Allison on 58 mins.

He had come on as a substitute for Paul Rideout.
