FAI to discuss Government proposals today

The meeting of the FAI to discuss the Government’s offer of IR£45m to join the national stadium project is underway at the FAI headquarters in Merrion Square.

There is speculation that the proposal from the Government will be enough to put an end to the controversial Eircom Park scheme.

However, officials from the FAI say that today’s meeting may not resolve the situation.
