Soccer: Adams returns for Hammers clash
Tony Adams returns to action for Arsenal in the Premiership clash with West Ham at Highbury.
Adams, who has quit international football, has had the week to recover from back trouble and prepare for the game instead of being involved in the England squad.
The Gunners will also be without Martin Keown (knee) and Ray Parlour (hamstring).
But £5m Brazilian signing Edu, who suffered a hamstring injury 15 minutes into his debut at Leicester, is fit again and comes into the reckoning.
Arsenal (from): Seaman, Dixon, Adams, Luzhny, Stepanovs, Silvinho, Cole, Vieira, Grimandi, Pires, Bergkamp, Henry, Ljungberg, Kanu, Wiltord, Lauren, Edu, Manninger.
West Ham are waiting on the fitness of England midfielders Michael Carrick and Joe Cole.
Carrick pulled out of the England squad after pulling a hamstring in last week's 2-1 win at Bradford, while Cole turned an ankle in training with Sven-Goran Eriksson's squad.
Paolo di Canio is suspended for the Highbury clash.
But goalkeeper Shaka Hislop is back from international duty to face the Gunners, and French striker Frederic Kanoute may return after missing out last week with an ankle injury.
