Spurs full-back Stephen Carr is facing another six weeks on the sidelines after being told he needs surgery on a hernia.

The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international has missed Tottenham's last two games after coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Manchester City on February 10.
