Soccer: Ireland match off due to icy terraces

The FAI have said the safety of fans was the key to the postponement of tonight's friendly international between Ireland and Denmark.

The pitch had passed a 10am pitch inspection, but the terracing behind both goals had not yet thawed by this time, causing a danger to supporters.
