Middlesbrough coach Terry Venables goes into tomorrow’s vital Premiership clash with Southampton facing a major selection problem.

Defenders Colin Cooper and Keith O’Neill are suspended, while Christian Karembeu (eye and hamstring), Steve Vickers (abdominal muscle) and Phil Stamp (hamstring) are major doubts, although Noel Whelan (back) and Paul Okon (groin) should return.
