Minister for Sport, Dr Jim McDaid, said he would still like to see a partnership with the FAI on the new national stadium.

Minister McDaid was speaking following talks between the Taoiseach and the FAI earlier today about their possible involvement in the venture.

He said the association would be welcome on board as a partner, as would the GAA and the IRFU.
