Soccer: Irish summer soccer one step closer

Summer soccer in the eircom League is now looking a distinct possibility following last night's League board of control meeting at Merrion Square.

Off the back of the matters discussed, a summit is to be held on March 5th, concentrating solely on whether or not league football in Ireland should switch to the summer months.
