Police in Rome have identified the man as Gerard Collins and says he was stabbed in the left arm and in the thigh.

He is in hospital and his condition is not serious.

Glen McAlbin and Terry Blake suffered head injuries and have been treated in hospital.

Police claim a Liverpool fan also broke the windows of a pub during the clash.

About 4,000 Liverpool fans are expected in Italy's capital for the fourth-round match at the Olympic Stadium.
