Soccer : Francis thrilled as Blues reach final

Birmingham manger Trevor Francis spoke of his pride after leading the First Division club to their first major final in 38 years.

Two goals from Geoff Horsfield helped the Blues to a 4-1 Worthington Cup semi-final second-leg triumph over Ipswich and set up a meeting with Liverpool at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff next month.
