De Bilde ready for Spanish switch?

Sheffield Wednesday's Gilles de Bilde is set to quit Hillsborough for a loan deal to an unnamed Spanish outfit.

The striker - a £3million signing by previous manager Danny Wilson - has already spent three months on loan at Aston Villa this season.

But Villa boss John Gregory opted not to make the move a permanent one.

Owls boss Paul Jewell said: "Gilles is in Spain speaking to a team with a view to a loan for the rest of the season.

"I think that the lad wants to go, but it up to them to agree terms and I think everything is agreed between the clubs it's just down to personal terms now."

De Bilde's agent refused to comment on the situation.
