Everton spash the cash signing Davy Klaassen and Jordan Pickford

Everton splashed the cash yesterday, announcing the signing of Ajax attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen for a fee of £23.5m (€26.9m) just hours after they completed the signing of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford from Sunderland for a club record £30m (€34.3m) fee.

Klaassen, a 24-year-old Netherlands international, has signed a five-year contract with the Toffees.

“I’ve walked around the training ground and talked with a few people and it feels good,” Klaassen said.
