Bohs ‘keeper Shane Supple had kept his side in the game in the first half, producing outstanding saves to twice deny Enda Curran, and another to keep out a Ryan Connolly drive, but the home side’s pressure eventually told in the second half.

The opening goal came in the 66th minute. Connolly’s free-kick was cushioned into the path of Aganovic by his centre-back partner, Stephen Folan, and the Swede fired inside the far post for his first goal for United.
