Paul Pogba a step closer to return to Manchester United

Paul Pogba moved another step closer to rejoining Manchester United yesterday as he arrived at the club’s training ground for a medical ahead of his proposed world-record switch from Juventus.

A day on from United announcing the France midfielder had been granted permission to have the medical in order finalise the much-anticipated deal, Pogba entered the Aon Training Complex in Carrington in a red and black Chevrolet at around 12.15pm.

His arrival in the country had been signalled around half an hour earlier by a tweet from Manchester Airport.
