Cork City drilled for penalty pressure
In 1993, against Cwmbran Town of Wales and 2005 against Sweden’s Djurgårdens, the Rebel Army prevailed on the away-goals rule. While only a 1-1 draw tonight would necessitate a penalty shootout, John Caulfield has ensured that City will be ready should they be required.
While he didn’t go into too much detail, he revealed that the team use a method in training which aims to replicate the kind of pressure which would be present in the real thing.
