Old boy Steven Lennon back to haunt Dundalk

Dundalk 1 FH Hafnarfjordur 1: Former player Seven Lennon came back to haunt Dundalk at Oriel Park last night as he scored a priceless away goal for FH Hafnarfjordur that puts them in the driving seat to advance to the third qualifying round of the Champions League when the two sides meet again in Iceland on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Scot failed to find the net for the Lilywhites in 10 appearances in the second half of the 2010 season but finally broke his Oriel Park duck in the 77th minute to earn Heimir Guðjónsson's side a share of the spoils.

Bodvar Bodvarsson's cross from the left was only partially cut out by Paddy Barrett, with Lennon on hand to slam to the bottom left hand corner past a helpless Gary Rogers.
