Shamrock Rovers run riot in derby

McCabe’s rasping deflected strike put Rovers on their way in the first minute of injury time at the end of the first half. Miele then doubled the visitors’ advantage two minutes after the restart before grabbing his second of the night on 73 minutes. Brennan then curled in a wonderful fourth goal on 78 minutes.
The home side had actually started this game well and Rovers goalkeeper Barry Murphy did well to prevent them from taking the lead on 12 minutes, when he dived quickly to save a Keith Buckley shot after a wonderful low cross from Ayman Ben Mohamed.
