Another major boost for Cobh

Cobh won their second game of the season last night by recording an impressive 2-1 victory at Cabinteely in the First Division.

Cian Kingston’s 30th-minute header had the Rams ahead at Stradbrook and Robert Lehane added shortly after the restart.

Although Ben Hanrahan halved the deficit 25 minutes from the end, Cabo failed to muster an equaliser and Cobh head to Waterford United on Monday with plenty of confidence.
