Eva Carneiro action against Chelsea and Jose Mourinho set to continue

Former Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro’s personal legal action against Jose Mourinho will continue despite him parting company with the club, according to sources with knowledge of the case.

Carneiro is claiming constructive dismissal against Chelsea and also has a separate but connected case against Mourinho for alleged victimisation and discrimination, and both actions will continue.

It is understood the constructive dismissal claim includes the possibility of Carneiro being reinstated if Mourinho left the club, but no moves have yet been made to explore that option.
