Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp failed to find any plus points in his team’s dismal performance as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat at Newcastle United yesterday.

Asked what went wrong as they lost for the second time in his 12-match reign, the German said: “Nearly everything. The start, the middle, the end…..”

He added: “There was no rhythm from our side. Our midfield pressing was not good and I couldn’t see any offensive pressing. The back four did their job, but we haven’t created enough.
