Richie Towell claims PFAI award

Roy Keane was on hand last night to present Richie Towell with the PFAI Player of the Year award last night.

The midfielder’s drive and goals were an integral part of Dundalk’s double-winning season, with his contribution recognised by the votes of his peers in the League of Ireland.

Also feted at the ceremony held at the Gibson Hotel was Lilywhites’ boss Stephen Kenny, who for the second year on the trot claimed the Manager of the Year prize.
