Arsenal starlet Marcus Agyei-Tabi defects from Ireland to England

Arsenal’s highly-rated teen star Marcus Agyei-Tabi has become the latest player to defect from Ireland to England.

Despite representing Ireland at the U17 European Championships in May, the 16-year-old is set to debut for his homeland against Germany tomorrow night after finalising his switch.

The midfielder, who featured on last month’s list of the 20 best young players in the Premier League in The Guardian, has already trained with the Gunners first-team at the invitation of Arsene Wenger.
