Cobh Ramblers beat Munster rivals Waterford United 3-1 at the RSC last night to move up to fifth in the First Division.

On the back of last week’s victory over Cabinteely, Stephen Henderson’s side sped into a three-goal lead after only 65 minutes before the basement battlers replied in stoppage time through Shane Mackey.

Chances were traded during the first half hour, with Daniel Pender going close for the hosts while the Rams’ Stephen Kenny blazed over at the other end.
