"Ramos to United? I don't know. I don't know" - Ronaldo storms out of interview

Looks like Cristiano Ronaldo is as cheesed off as everyone else with the Sergio Ramos to Manchester United will he/won’t he saga.

"Ramos to United? I don't know. I don't know" - Ronaldo storms out of interview

The Madrid vice-captain has been strongly linked with United in recent weeks after it emerged he has not yet signed an extension to a contract which expires in June 2017.

His teammate Ronaldo was quizzed about the situation during an interview with SNTV at the weekend and clearly exasperated, repeated "I don’t know" several times before abrubtly ending the chat amid a series of sighs and gesticulations.

During his own appearance on Spanish television channel  Canal Cuatro this weekend, Ramos also played down suggestions he’d already opened talks with United, insisting he is "not negotiating with anyone" and "all is very well" at Real.

Many observers put the apparent United flirtation down to wage negotiations on Ramos’s part. A cult figure at Madrid, especially since his last-ditch Champions League final equaliser that helped Real go on to win ’La Decima’, it is apparent Ramos believes he is not being paid what he’s worth at the Spanish giants.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, former United defender Rio Ferdinand believes Ramos’s agent is doing "clever work", especially since Manchester City’s name has also cropped up amid the transfer rumours.

“The agent’s flying, he’s doing well. He’s putting him with two of the biggest clubs in terms of financial power.”

Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta also doubts his international colleague will leave Madrid.

“I’ve always said that Sergio is one of the best centre-backs around. He’s already in a great team and to be honest, I can’t see Madrid letting him leave.”
