Barca can be unstoppable, says buoyant Enrique

Barcelona coach Luis Enrique believes his team will be “unstoppable” in the Primera Division if they continue to reproduce the kind of performance which saw them thrash Getafe 6-0 on Tuesday night.

Barca can be unstoppable, says buoyant Enrique

Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi both scored twice, with Neymar also finding the net and Xavi rolling back the years with a virtuoso performance and impressive long-range strike.

The result takes Barca five points clear at the top of the table ahead of closest rivals Real Madrid’s clash against Almeria on Wednesday.

And although Luis Enrique warns there is still work to be done to secure the league title, he was nevertheless impressed by what he witnessed at the Nou Camp.

“I don’t remember ever seeing a game with quite so many spectacular goals,” he told the club’s website. “When the team is as effective as that, they’re unstoppable.

“We created a lot of chances, a lot of pressure situations. What I like are the things that enable us to create these goalscoring chances.

“We’re not going to start taking it easy. We know there are still four games left to play and we’re up against a very dignified opponent in Real Madrid.

“We’re not thinking about what might happen, we’re thinking about doing everything possible to make sure it happens.

“There is still room for improvement. I don’t doubt that we can still get better. But I don’t remember ever seeing so many great goals in the same game.”
