Sheppard and Bennett deliver on City’s big night
Playing in their 1000th League of Ireland game since their foundation in 1984, a goal in each half saw Cork City claim all three points against Galway United at Turner’s Cross last night.
In a poor game overall, John Caulfield’s side never got out of second gear but the win sees Cork remain unbeaten and right in touch with the leaders after four games.
