Ronny Deila in awe of Inter class
Roberto Mancini’s men have struggled for most of the season but two successive wins have steered them back on track and into 10th place in Serie A.
But Deila says Celtic are underdogs for tonight’s game at Celtic Park (kick-off 8:05pm, live on BT Sport 1).
“Just look at the squad Inter have,” said the Norwegian. “It’s totally different to what we have.
“Inter is a big club in the history of European football. Celtic have been big as well but it’s a different league and a different level they play at normally.
“We have everything to win. We go in with lots of confidence.
“If we get a good result, we’ll put a lot of pressure on them when we play them away from home.”
Mancini expects a frenzied atmosphere tonight but believes it could inspire his players.
“It will be a great atmosphere and Celtic is quite right to use that to their advantage,” said the former Manchester City boss.
“It will help our players as well. It will be a good experience for them.”
