City put six past Cobh Wanderers

Cork City will face Limerick in the Munster Senior Cup semi-final after putting six past Munster Senior League Division Two outfit Cobh Wanderers in Cobh on Saturday. 

Mark O’Sullivan had City a goal up after two minutes before efforts from Rob Lehane (2) and Billy Dennehy gave them a 4-0 half-time lead. Lehane completed his hat-trick in the second half with sub Kieran Djilali completing the rout.

Casement Celtic and UCC are through to the FAI Intermediate Cup quarter-finals after coming through their replays yesterday. Casement advanced on penalties against Edenderry at Casement Park after the sides finished 1-1 after extra-time, while UCC came away from Dublin with a hard fought 1-0 victory over hosts Glenville.
