Cork City will face Limerick in the Munster Senior Cup semi-final after putting six past Munster Senior League Division Two outfit Cobh Wanderers in Cobh on Saturday.

Mark O’Sullivan had City a goal up after two minutes before efforts from Rob Lehane (2) and Billy Dennehy gave them a 4-0 half-time lead. Lehane completed his hat-trick in the second half with sub Kieran Djilali completing the rout.

Casement Celtic and UCC are through to the FAI Intermediate Cup quarter-finals after coming through their replays yesterday. In the First Division, Bandon moved within two points of leaders Blarney United with a 1-0 home win over Ballincollig, while in the other game CIT defeated Ringmahon Rangers 4-1 at Ringmahon Park.

There were two games in Division Two: Mallow United hammered Crosshaven 5-0 in Mallow, while Youghal United edged Leeside 2-1 at Little Island.
