FAI pays tribute to stalwart Tim Fitzgerald

The FAI last night paid tribute to board member Tim Fitzgerald who passed away at the Mercy Hospital in Cork after a recent battle with illness.

FAI pays tribute to stalwart Tim Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald was appointed onto the FAI’s board at last summer’s AGM in Athlone and was chairman of the FAI underage committee.

He was serving secretary of the Limerick County & District Underage League and was appointed chairman of the Schoolboys FAI in 2014. He had previously been vice-chairman of the SFAI since 2011.
